Z. T. Fairfax wields subversive childlike elements and universal nostalgia as a horrific lens through which to view the human experience. His goal is for readers to face their fears through playful, surreal, young adult horror.

He is a fiction author, illustrator, and a former award-winning editor whose work can be found in several online publications. He started as a journalist in 2018 for his local broadsheet publication, The LaRue County Herald News, where he launched his career as an editor. He now runs the public relations for the City of Hodgenville.

When not penning tales that blend teen experiences with technicolor nightmares, Z.T. spends his time drawing, playing video games, or building “bugateriums” with his daughter.

His Muppet-inspired horror, THE HUGGLEBEEZ, is represented by Amy Stern of The Sheldon Fogelman Agency.
